National Robotics Competition
The Barnwood Bandits robotics team recently competed in the National Robotics competition at the NEC. The team took part in 4 activities during the day including a speed challenge and an unseen programming challenge. They worked really hard as a team and only 34 out of 340 schools nationwide got through to final, with only 2 others being Gloucestershire schools. The students got to enjoy lots of fun STEM based activities ranging from exploding methane bubbles, RAF flight simulators and even stroking cockroaches! The group were a credit to the school.
Congratulations to them for being in the top 10% robotics teams in the nation.
