Recently a group of volunteers from Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, along with student Paramedics, visited Barnwood Park to deliver ‘Heartstarters’ sessions. Students in Year 8 learnt how to call emergency services, perform CPR and also learnt how a defibrillator is used. Students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and learnt lots of important information.

One Year 8 student stated “I now feel more comfortable knowing that I have been taught the correct way to deliver CPR”.
